Enjoy exploring the best birding spots of the Santa Ynez Valley and learn the fundamentals of birding, including identification, life histories, habitats, and ecology. Birders of all levels can learn something from expert birder and wildlife biologist, Fred Emerson, (Ph.D. Cornell University).
$65 Members, $75 non-members
Class schedule and birding meet-up locations will be sent via email after registration.
Community Education Class Refund Policy: Refunds are available if you cancel your registration a minimum of two weeks prior to the class/fieldtrip’s date. Due to registration challenges, no refunds are available after that time. Due to processing charges all cancellations/refunds will incur a 10% fee regardless of cancellation date.

More about your teacher: Dr. Emerson has been a teacher, researcher and biologist for federal, state, and local conservation agencies, universities, and museums for over 25 years. He leads only a few birding classes annually, so don’t miss your opportunity, register early.
