Join us as Associate Curator of Anthropology Brian Barbier, M.A., discusses his recent experimental archaeological research of the Chumash shell bead money production and exchange. Discover the rich and unique history of a shell-bead-making industry that drove the complex economic exchange of the Chumash and their neighbors.
